Piece 1702 – Wild Red Clay Vessel with Lake Erie Inclusions
Couldn't load pickup availability
This handbuilt vessel was crafted using 100% wild red clay sourced from Virginia and fired to cone 10. The surface features coarse, crushed inclusions gathered and sieved from the shores of Lake Erie. During firing, these embedded fragments partially melted into the form, adding pockets of shine and variation across the rich red texture.
Its layered cracks and irregular form reflect the rawness of the process, making it ideal as a sculptural incense holder or a stand-alone object.
