Piece 1,695 – Wild Red Clay Vessel with Cratered Crest
Couldn't load pickup availability
Crafted from wild red clay, this vessel features a compact, upright form with a bold cratered crest — its rim rising and falling like scorched terrain. The surface is gritty and raw, marked by deep fractures and exposed seams that reveal the unrefined nature of the material. This piece embraces collapse and formation in equal measure, offering a still moment within the chaos of earth.
This handmade piece is #1,695 in my journey toward 10,000. My hands are 1,695x more familiar with the touch of clay than when I started this project — and each vessel carries a piece of that learning.
