Piece 1,694 – Wild Red Clay Sculptural Vessel with Eroded Rim
Couldn't load pickup availability
Crafted from wild red clay, this sculptural vessel features a jagged, eroded rim and a raw, unglazed texture that calls back to the ancient force of wind and earth shaping stone. The coarse surface is layered with deep creases, subtle shimmer, and natural cracking — a quiet monument to unrefined matter and instinctual form-making.
This handmade piece is #1,694 in my journey toward 10,000. My hands are 1,694x more familiar with the touch of clay than when I started this project — and each vessel carries a piece of that learning.
