This one (part of the 1606-1610 series) feels like erosion in reverse—layers of material pushed together rather than worn away. The surface holds onto every touch, every moment of pressure, every decision not to smooth things out. It’s raw, unpolished, and unapologetic in its form. Light catches on its edges, shadow settles into its crevices. It’s a record of process, of letting the clay speak before imposing too much control.
