This piece has a raw, organic quality with a heavily textured, hand-built surface. The irregular and rough exterior shows they were formed using a primitive or intuitive approach, through pinching, stacking, and compressing clay layers. The rims are uneven and jagged, reinforcing the natural, unrefined aesthetic. These vessels capture an expressive, sculptural quality, emphasizing materiality and process over symmetry or refinement.
