Ceramic Piece 1593

A hand-built clay vessel with a rough, organic texture. Intentionally irregular, with an uneven rim that gives it a raw, sculptural quality. The surface is marked by visible finger impressions and tool marks, emphasizing its handmade nature. The walls of the piece are thick, suggesting sturdiness, and the overall shape is slightly tapered at the bottom, allowing it to sit securely on the wooden surface. It has a primal, almost ancient aesthetic, reminiscent of early pottery traditions where function and form were shaped directly by the hands of the maker.

My hands are 1,593 times more familiar with the touch of clay than when I started this project
